Traffic to Hubs
This hub was created to answer this question asked by a fellow hubber.
As requested, I will give my account as an example.
I started seeing traffic from Google sometimes within hours, days or a week of posting hubs.
On this hub, you will see a chart showing the level of traffic that I received from search engines.
I also received traffic from HubPages and other sources, but the question was specifically about search engines.
I joined HubPages for the first time ever, on 11/1/11, and today is 11/30/11.
I published 30 hubs during my first 30 days, and I am currently in the midst of my 30th day on hub-pages.
When publishing a hub, I usually check the keyword tool only for the URL and title.
Otherwise, I generally leave the article as is, and don't stuff it with keywords.
I don't bother checking whether the subject is popular.
On Red-gage, I only posted about 10 or 11 out of the 30 hubs that I have created.
Currently, I only have a back-link to my main page on other sites, not to specific hubs.
I think that I have no other back-links to my hubs, other than through hub-pages.

I saw traffic after few hours after i created my first hubs and it has continued like that with the rest of my hubs, sometimes after some minutes of publishing the hubs.

I've been on hubpages for about 10 days, and can't believe I have Google traffic already. I don't go over board promoting my pages either. Good to see its not a fluke.

The more hubs you write the more traffic you get. I started with only a few hubs. It's only been in the last few weeks that I have been inspired to write more. I'm the same in not bothering to check if the subject is popular. But I'm starting to lean towards a particular subject. For the most part I'm seeing the value of 'grouping' hubs together. I had heard that linking hubs will help with increasing traffic.
